Hwk: 8/19 WELCOME!
Hello All! Welcome to our class blog! I am looking forward to an exciting semester for all of us!
As we are reviewing image-making you will need to bring in ONE 45-min drawing (can be longer) of THREE OBJECTS arranged in space. We will be looking for volumetric rendering in space (look for WEIGHT and DEPTH) through the use of VALUE. I want you to consider tool choice, mark-making, line quality, compositional choice, and proportion. These are due at the beginning of class on Thursday.
Make sure to bring in your drawing materials and signed contract from your syllabus.
Since this is a BUSY semester I recommend you get a jump-start on your first project, which I have posted: 50 Drawings in 4 Hours. This is DUE at the beginning of class Tuessday!
You WILL have daily assignments, along with your projects, and must manage your time accordingly.
